Camera King
There are, of course, lots of places you can buy a camera online but you might like to take a look here as this is a great place for real enthusiasts. They not only offer a huge range of cameras and show you straight away what's in stock, but the menu is very clear and there are some excellent accessories including camera bags and cases and tripods of all shapes and sizes. Don't come here if you're looking for the latest pink pocket sized marvel, but for real equipement this is a great place.
Cameras.co.uk
This website will certainly take you to the places where you can buy your chosen digital camera for less, but it is, first and foremost, a review and advice centre on digital photography in general and on all the new camera ranges. Once you've had a good read and selected your camera it will then give you the price comparisons for the retailers offering that specific model and you can see some amazing differentials in price. This is an excellent website if you're not sure which camera you want to buy or you just want to compare prices.
Campkins Online
For photographic enthusiasts this is a great place to shop. There’s an excellent range including digital SLRs and camcorders, and their speciality – compact digital cameras - some of which can be ordered in colours such as fuchsia pink, orange, wasabi green and bright red which would make great gifts for girls. They also offer the digital frames you need to show off your pics, memory cards, and Sandisk MP3 players.
Check out the Monster Pod - a mini digital camera tripod that sticks to just about everything.

Digital Frames Direct
Having been given one of these frames by my son for Christmas (yes, lucky me) I can definitely recommend them as a gift for any photographer - they beat sticking pictures into albums as far as I'm concerned; are easy to update with your latest pics and provide a constant reminder of the people, places and events you want to keep in mind. Here you'll find a very good selection in a range of sizes right up to ten inches plus a selection of memory cards.
Expansys
This great site specialising in wireless technology is an excellent place to find out about the latest mobile phones, smartphones, and pocket pcs, plus GPS navigation systems. In the Digital Camera department you can immediately see the best sellers (and how long you'll have to wait for delivery) then browse the list which is clearly sub sectioned by brand. For some excellent gifts check out the Ora and Cullmann tripods and accessories.
Fotosense
Fotosense offers an excellent range of the latest cameras, plus everything you need for digital video, MP3 players, binoculars, printers and studio lighting from a list of over fifty manufacturers, as well as one of the largest photographic accessory lines available in the UK. If you need advice on what to buy you can just give them a call and they'll be delighted to help. They only deliver to the UK but offer extremely fast delivery options.
John Lewis - Photographic Equipment
If you're looking for somewhere that makes your choice of new camera clear and simple and where you know you'll get a very good service, you might want to take a look at the highly edited selection here. They're not pretending to be photographic experts, so if you're after the latest and highest tech lenses this would probably not be the place for you. If, however, you prefer a small but excellent choice and a beautifully uncluttered website have a browse. They also offer a small range of accessories.
The Classic Camera
This is the place to come to for your Leica cameras and lenses, also on offer are Zeiss and Voigtlander lenses, Metz flashguns and Gitzo tripods. This shop is very much for professionals and specialists and if you’re not absolutely sure about what you’re considering buying call them for advice. There’s a small range of digital SLR cameras here as well.
